Ana has been extremely nauseated and they are now treating it with Zofran(I.V.). The plan was to start pedialyte feeds today, but with no bowel sounds, that will not be an option until tomorrow. She is also having lots of abdominal and chest pain. After a cath attempt last night, she finally did void on her own. Today she is still having urine output problems, and they are trying to get a urology consult.
Please pray all of these issues resolve quickly. The soonest we will be discharged now is Thursday. We really need to be home by Saturday... these trips are very costly and funds are tight. Thank you for your prayers and kind words of encouragement. The healing touch therapist is coming to give her a massage to help with pain management and then we will try to get her into her wheelchair for a bit. I promise to update if anything changes.
