Ana had a reaction to the Vancomycin, called Redman Syndrome (you can see the redness beginning in the picture). She is feeling great, just red and itchy. They increased her dose and the frequency and this may have had something to do with the reaction. They gave her Benadryl a few minutes ago, and will probably pretreat with Benadryl before the next dose at 3AM. We have not heard the verdict on the line being pulled... I am guessing that they are waiting to see what bacteria it is. I am going to bed and I will update tomorrow. Say a prayer for Ana tonight!
