Ana has neuropathy in her legs and takes medication to ease the pain. Neuropathy is nerve damage... the nerves send the wrong messages to the brain. The nerves may tell her brain that her leg is cut, or broken, when in reality her leg is fine. The medications she has been on since January have worked to keep the pain away. However, yesterday was bad, she had several episodes of "break through" pain and we had to give her extra doses of medication. After lots of prayer she is back to regular doses and not having anymore pain. God is good.
We also want to thank Him for watching over our family this weekend. We drove through a hail storm with baseball size hail! The only damage was to the car... several dents in the hood and roof.
Please remember Ana in your prayers this week. Remember the true meaning of Easter. Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose again on the third day so that we can have eternal salvation! God is great.
Ana has Oxidative Phosphorylation Complex I Defect. Ana's defect is a primary Mitochondrial Disease. Ana's only chance for a cure is through God. Please consider praying for Ana on a daily basis.
