It was decided today that Ana would have a G/J tube placed. This would allow her food to be sent directly to her small intestine and bypass her stomach for now. This will hopefully help us stop her weight from decreasing and stablize her until we can get to Kennedy Krieger. We are in desperate need of fundraising to cover the cost of testing that may be needed at Johns Hopkins and travel. All of this is very overwhelming right now. Ana has Oxidative Phosphorylation Complex I Defect. Ana's defect is a primary Mitochondrial Disease. Ana's only chance for a cure is through God. Please consider praying for Ana on a daily basis.
