So, Monday was our first follow-up of the week with the pediatrician... Tuesday the Nurse came to the house to follow-up... Today, we go to MUSC to follow-up with the GI doctor. Then, tomorrow all of the kids go to the dentist in Savannah! This all makes for a long week!
Ana is doing well. She will be on I.V. antibiotics till next Tuesday, and then we will leave for Pittsburgh on the following Sunday. And hopefully between now and then she will have her g-tube switched out for a different type to see if that helps with the leaking.
Well, that is it for now, time to go disconnect her antibiotics and get the kids up for our trip to Charleston. I will update with any news. Please keep Ana and our family in your prayers!
Ana has Oxidative Phosphorylation Complex I Defect. Ana's defect is a primary Mitochondrial Disease. Ana's only chance for a cure is through God. Please consider praying for Ana on a daily basis.
