The end of another year...

The children playing doctor... Ana is once again the patient.

Ana, Ashlyn, & Sage playing dress-up!

I do realize it has been a while since I last updated... we are ending another school year, and busy it is. Testing... grades... journals... portfolios... lots to do before the summer can begin! Ana is doing pretty good at the moment. She will have a weight check this week, and then only one appointment on the schedule for June! We found out this week that a non-profit organization on Hilton Head is going to pay for horse camp... now we just have to figure out which week to go. We will be leaving the 20th for Washington, D.C.! We are excited and nervous all at once. I have never travelled to Capital Hill to support a cause and raise awareness, but I guess there is a first time for everything. We need lots of prayers! Pray the federal government will fund research for Mitochondrial Disease... pray we have the opportunity to share the gospel with at least one family while we are there... pray for safe travels... pray Ana and the other kids stay well for the entire trip!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day! Shey and I want to personally thank every member of the armed services... and a special thank you to the families of those men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice, and gave their life for our freedom!

  1. Praying for safe travel to DC and that God will give you the words to say that will help you in your cause. Also praying for many opportunities to share Jesus.
