Ana is doing great! She is tolerating tube feeds of pedialyte at a rate of 15cc/hour. (15cc=1tablespoon) The plan is to get her on Elecare today so we can possibly go home tomorrow afternoon! I am so ready to be home... Her labs look great and her blood pressure and sugars are now normal. Here is a picture of her belly... the top bandage is the central line and the bandage on the bottom left is the j-tube closure.
Ana painted this picture in the Atrium (playroom) yesterday. I asked her, "What is this a picture of?" She responded, "These are hearts for Nanny. Hearts mean 'love' and God is love."
She is so smart...
