Update... finally...

Ana's sleep study went great, and I will let you know the results as soon as I have them. We are diligently trying to prepare for the trip and have some unexpected costs. If any of you have seen the weather in Cincinnati, you know what I am talking about! We have purchased winter coats for the girls, and Shey has one from long ago. I have to get a coat this week and Shey and I are on the look out for waterproof boots... just want to keep our feet dry. The thought of packing is now becoming overwhelming. This past week has been very busy. We have some dear friends who wanted to decorate Ana's room in preparation of her new Sleep Safe Bed. This will be a big transition for her and they wanted to make it as fun and easy as possible. God continually blesses us in ways we never thought possible! Ana is truly blessed... her life has so much purpose... this time 5 years ago we were making funeral arrangements for a little girl we were told would not live once she was born... Ana has lived and she continues to be full of life!
January 14, 2004 was the beginning of our search... our search for a personal relationship with Jesus. It was a long journey and came with a lot of struggles, but we made it! We are secured for all eternity and for that we are forever grateful! God uses Ana as an instrument and we thank Him for that.

1As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth.
2And His disciples asked Him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind?"
3Jesus answered, "It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him.
John 9:1-3

The day I read these verses was the day that I realized that Ana is not a punishment... and she is not being punished because of anything she did... her life has purpose and God uses her circumstance to bring people to Him. Going to Cincinnati every three months is like a mission trip for us. We know God puts people in our path for a reason... We are all sinners, but God sent us a Savior and through Him all are made whole... made perfect in the eyes of God!

Phase I & II of Ana's new room.

I will post another slideshow when the final phase is complete.
