Both the neurologist and the surgeon's office called today. Ana's appointment with the surgeon at MUSC has been moved from July 1st to tomorrow! I will update tomorrow and hopefully I will have answers in reference to the leaking. As far as the neurologist, we agreed to lower the neuropathy medication until our appointment on July 2nd. He is also scheduling an electromyogram (EMG) for the day of the appointment. An EMG is a nerve conduction study that will tell us how bad the neuropathy is and how to best treat it. Currently Ana is on alot of medication that should be helping, but isn't.
Please pray for comfort. Ana is already having severe arm and leg pain and her appointment isn't for another 2 weeks. Also, if you could pray for us as we travel to MUSC and back. Thank you.
Ana has Oxidative Phosphorylation Complex I Defect. Ana's defect is a primary Mitochondrial Disease. Ana's only chance for a cure is through God. Please consider praying for Ana on a daily basis.
